DAVID ARMSTRONG - MANAGING DIRECTOR
A golf professional for over 24 years, David’s golfing career has seen him play the greens in two British Opens and numerous competitions as a successful Australian Tour professional. David is also a member of PGA Australia (Professional Golfers Association).
In 1991 David combined his passion for golf and business and founded Octopus Promotions. He has spent many years in retail, concept development and marketing and is experienced in all sporting promotions and events.
ERIKA HELLSTROM - SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Erika joined Octopus Promotions from the United States where she gained marketing and promotions experience working in Sponsorship Sales division of IMG (International Management Group) where she was responsible for building relationships with clients.
As Sponsorship Co-ordinator for IMG’s television division, Erika worked on a series of made-for-network television sporting events, working with sponsors, pre-event and on-site, to ensure fulfilment of sponsorship and promotional obligations. Erika has also worked for the San Francisco Marathon Expo as a Sales Executive, and was responsible for selling exhibitor stands and overseeing the entire expo.
SCOTT MILBURN - ACCOUNT MANAGER
Scott joined Octopus after a spending a majority of his working life in sales and customer service.
As a Real Estate Agent, Sales Representative and Retail Manager, Scott has honed his skills and experience dealing with customers, sales and delivering on clients varying requirements to great effect within the promotional marketing industry. His background compliments his problem solving and ability to think outside the square.
PHOEBE FORBES - ACCOUNT MANAGER
Phoebe is the newest addition to the Octopus team, having joined us in August 2008
Originally from a farm in western Victoria, Phoebe spent a year living in the UK and travelling around Europe before carrying on her further education at RMIT in 2005, where she studied public relations and obtained a Bachelor of Communications.
Working in retail, at an English boarding school and most recently at a law firm, Phoebe has gained extensive knowledge and experience. She is a pleasure to work with.
